The terminals are easily accessible and there's an indicator light to show when sending a pulse. This energiser can be powered by either a 9v or a 12v dry battery and it comes with a 9v battery already connected inside. The earth stake is crewed firmly onto a bracket which the energiser slots down onto securing it in position. A 1m galvanised earth stake is included which slots into one of the four purposely mounded mounting sections on the back. The earth can either be attached to the stake or by a lead to an additional stake. The energiser is powered by either 4 'D' batteries which slot into the casing and provide a 6v supply or by two leads (supplied) to a 12v battery. The terminals for this are at the underside at the back of the energiser sheltered from the elements.
